Event Rengasdengklok caused by a "difference of opinion between parent groups and youth groups", deals with the time to extol the proclamation of independence of Indonesia. On 16 August 1945 in a dormitory Baperpi Cikini 74 Jakarta street, youth group held a meeting attended by Sukarni, Joseph Kunto, dr.Muwardi, and Shudanco Singgih of Paidan PETA Jakarta. This meeting made a decision to alienate Ir.Soekarno and Mohammad Hatta was out of town in order to keep them away from any influence of Japan. In Rengasdengklok, finally Ir.Soekarno and Mohammad Hatta was willing to declare independence after returning to Jakarta. Meanwhile, in Jakarta going negotiations between parent groups and youth groups. Old class is represented by Ahmad Subardjo, while the younger group was represented by Wikana. From the talks have agreed that the proclamation of independence should be held in Jakarta Indonesia.
